Nava Wealth began in 2017 with a simple observation: many adults approaching their forties and fifties in Thailand had navigated careers, raised families, and built lives — but had never had a calm, unhurried conversation about what to do with the savings they had accumulated, or how to think about the years ahead.
The financial advice available was often tied to products. The educational materials available assumed a vocabulary few had reason to develop. The gap was not one of intelligence or capacity; it was simply one of access to patient, independent explanation.
Nava Wealth was founded to fill that gap. The name draws on the Thai word for nine — a number traditionally associated with advancement and considered progress — and the English word that describes what we help people think about with more confidence.
Our programmes have remained deliberately small since the beginning. We have never grown beyond what a single facilitator can hold carefully. Each cohort is limited to twelve participants, each programme is designed to begin without assumptions, and each session is shaped around the questions that arise in the room.
We are based on Tha Phae Road in the Chang Khlan district of Chiang Mai — a neighbourhood that has always been a meeting point between Thai daily life and the international community that has made this city home. Our participants reflect that mix: long-term residents, returned Thais, and those who have simply decided that Chiang Mai is where they want to spend the decades ahead.
